Handy to the CBD, transport, shops and ferries.
The room was lovely friends of mine Paid less money for the smoking floor and got better views than I did on the 4 th floor I was disappointed in that I paid more and GOT LESS
We specifically booked for a non-smoking room nearly three months before arrival but was still checked-in in a smoking room. We understand it’s the new year but that’s the point of booking really early. They were kind enough to give us an odor eliminator for the room. For the price we paid, I would say the hotel was average overall.
Always great – staff lovely – breakfast fantastic – views stunning – clean and beautiful facilities – value for money
It is the first time we have stayed here. My initial reaction on arriving on the 1st floor to book in was “OMG” this place is pretty dirty. I was amazed at the dirty stained carpets and there were childrens toys laying around near the reservation desk. I was pretty shocked!! First impression is usually lasting impression. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. We stayed on the 6th floor. The passage ways and the carpets around the lift areas were a disgrace and they stayed that way for about 2-3 days. By the middle of the week the carpets had finallty been vacuumed. On the other hand, our rooms were nice and clean and very roomy. The only complaint I would have about the room is that you should catch up with the times and have KING SIZE beds. Fot that reason I probably would stay somewhere else next time. The location was fantastic and the service was very good. We enjoyed out evening drinks at the bar each night enjoying the views. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
We arrived via Perth to Sydney (with Quantas) BUT our luggage stayed in Perth The staff at Novotel where great nothing was a problem when I asked for a tooth brush I got dressing gowns as well and when the cases arrived they where delivered to our room and we received a phone call on our mobile to advise that they had arrived.
